Maxxiom Transportable Power System – Dash 15

Maxxiom’s largest transportable solar trailer. 15 kVA inverter, 40 kWh battery (expandable to 80 kWh), 8.0 kW solar and a built-in 8 kVA auto-start diesel generator. High-capacity power for the biggest sites.

Description

The Dash 15 is Maxxiom’s largest transportable solar power system, and the most compact high-output transportable power system on the market to date. A 15 kVA inverter, 40 kWh of battery storage (double the Dash 8), an 8.0 kW solar array and a built-in 8 kVA auto-start diesel generator, all on a fully road-registerable trailer that deploys to site and plugs straight into an existing building or application. Solar and battery carry the load; the generator is backup, and the system controls critical and non-critical loads to extend runtimes.

Why Choose the Dash 15 over the Dash 8

Double the battery40 kWh versus 20 kWh, and 36 kWh usable – around 72 hours at 0.5 kW, double the Dash 8’s overnight endurance.
Nearly double the output15 kVA and 27 kW peak versus 8 kVA and 15 kW – enough to carry a whole community, a large shed or several tiny homes at once.
Twice the solar8.0 kW across 16 panels versus 4.08 kW – more self-generation each day, fewer generator starts.
Bigger site distributionTwo 32 A outputs plus a 50 A J-box feed a substantial site board directly, not just a couple of demountables.
Expandable to 80 kWhAdd 5 kWh battery modules as demand grows, up to 80 kWh in total, plus an additional MPPT charge controller.

Industries and Applications We Power

Multiple tiny homes & large homesEnough capacity to power several tiny homes, a large work shed or a large off-grid home from a single trailer. Off-grid homes & sheds.
Remote power stationsMining, agriculture and construction operations where the grid never reached and fuel resupply is costly.
Civil & constructionLarge site offices, amenities, lighting, comms and surveillance on one high-capacity trailer. Construction power.
Demountable offices & accommodationSilent, fuel-free power for demountable office and accommodation villages.
Events & carnivalsQuiet, clean temporary power for events, carnivals and off-grid EV charging.
Remote communities & emergencyOff-grid community living and emergency services power that needs no fuel truck.

For Government, Councils and Large Organisations

The Dash 15 is the highest-capacity trailer in the Dash range for councils, agencies and Tier 1 contractors – when one deployment has to carry a whole site or community. Australian made in Brisbane, road-registerable, GPS-tracked, with full procurement documentation.
★ A generator is only as good as its fuel supplyAnd a disaster is exactly when the fuel supply breaks: roads cut, service stations unpowered, fuel rationed to emergency services. The Dash 15 refuels itself from the sun every day, with nobody driving anywhere – and still carries an 8 kVA diesel generator as backup.
Whole-community capacity40 kWh of storage and 15 kVA output carry evacuation centres, community facilities and multi-building sites that a smaller trailer cannot.
Silent in an evacuation centreLighting, resident phone charging, cold chain and comms – without a generator droning through the night where people are sleeping.
Documented savingsThe Dash platform delivered 100% fuel reduction over six months, $136/day, 1.62 tonnes of CO2 avoided monthly, and zero generator runtime in enforced quiet hours.
Remote asset managementThe Maxxiom App gives full remote control and manages multiple assets – each unit’s location and state of charge visible before dispatch.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Dash 15 and the Dash 8?
The Dash 15 is the larger trailer. It has a 15 kVA inverter (versus 8 kVA), double the battery at 40 kWh (versus 20 kWh), twice the solar at 8.0 kW (16 panels versus 8), 27 kW peak and a bigger output with two 32 A circuits plus a 50 A J-box. Its backup generator is an 8 kVA diesel with auto-start. Choose the Dash 15 when one trailer has to carry a whole community or a very large site.
How quickly can it be deployed?
It is fully road-transportable and registerable. Tow it to site, deploy the solar array and plug straight into an existing building or site distribution board. No crane and no float required.
What can the Dash 15 power?
With 15 kVA and 40 kWh of storage it suits multiple tiny homes, a large work shed or large home, a demountable office and accommodation village, or a remote power station for mining, agriculture and construction. 36 kWh usable gives around 72 hours at a steady 0.5 kW.
What happens at night or in bad weather?
The battery carries the site overnight. If storage will not last, the energy management system auto-starts the built-in 8 kVA diesel generator, recharges, then shuts it down. Critical and non-critical loads can be controlled to extend runtime, and the generator can be locked out of enforced quiet hours.
Is it solar with a generator, or a generator with solar?
Solar and battery first, generator as backup. That is the opposite of most hybrid gensets on the market, which are fundamentally a generator with solar assistance – and it is why the Dash platform recorded 100% fuel reduction over six months on a real deployment.
Can the battery be expanded?
Yes. Additional 5 kWh battery modules take it up to 80 kWh in total, and an additional MPPT charge controller can be added via the expansion kit.
What are the trailer dimensions?
Deployed it measures W 4500 x L 7200 x H 2700 mm, and in transport W 2210 x L 4700 x H 3030 mm. It is road-registerable and tows as a standard trailer.
Can I control it remotely?
Yes. The Maxxiom App provides full remote control of the system and lets you manage multiple assets from one place, including location and state of charge for each unit.
Is it suitable for emergency and disaster response?
Yes. No fuel resupply is required when roads are cut, it deploys quickly, runs silently for evacuation centres, and is GPS-tracked so a council can see each unit’s location and charge before dispatch. Its high capacity suits whole-community response.
Do you supply to government, councils and large organisations?
Yes. We deliver to councils, agencies, Tier 1 contractors and hire fleets with full procurement documentation: capability statement, quality management system, environmental statement, battery emergency response plan, SWMS and risk assessments, plus engineering documentation and commissioning reports. Licensed Electrical Contracting in QLD, NSW and NT. ABN 88 662 397 560.
