Description

The Peer-to-Peer Wireless Display is an off-grid system monitor display that needs no internet at all. It talks directly to your Maxxiom PowerBox or trailer over its own wireless link – so when you are living beyond cellular coverage, or the towers are down after a storm, you still see exactly what your system is doing. Preconfigured to your system, with a guest mode that locks the settings for accommodation stays.

Why Monitoring Without Internet Matters

★ Works when the towers are downCellular and internet are the first things to fail in a storm, flood or cyclone – taking most solar monitoring with them. This display keeps working, because it never needed them.
Built for genuinely remote sitesIf your property has no mobile coverage, a cloud-based monitoring app is useless. This talks straight to your system.
No data plan, no subscriptionOnce the 12-month 4G plan on your PowerBox lapses, this keeps full visibility with no ongoing cost.
Always on the wall, always glanceableA dedicated screen beats digging out a phone – the whole household can see generation and charge at a glance.
Guest-safeGuest mode shows visitors their usage while locking the settings menu, so nobody reconfigures your system.
Portable10 hours of battery and a stand – carry it to the system, then back to the kitchen bench.

For Government, Councils and Large Organisations

For any deployment where network coverage cannot be assumed – remote communities, ranger stations, disaster response – the P2P Display gives operators local visibility and control with no infrastructure behind it. Pair it with 4G monitoring for remote oversight where coverage exists, and the display for on-site certainty where it does not. Australian supplied with the same procurement documentation as the rest of the range: capability statement, QMS, environmental statement, SWMS. ABN 88 662 397 560.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it really work with no internet?
Yes – that is the whole point. It uses a direct peer-to-peer wireless link to your Maxxiom system. No Wi-Fi network, no SIM card, no cloud account and no data plan. If your system is powered, the display can see it.
Why not just use the phone app?
Use both if you have coverage. But the 4G monitoring on your PowerBox needs a cellular signal and an active data plan – neither of which exists on many genuinely remote properties, or during the storm that just took the towers out. The display is your guaranteed local view.
Which Maxxiom systems does it work with?
The Maxxiom PowerBox range and the Transportable Power Systems. It arrives preconfigured to your system, so pairing is a few simple steps.
What is the wireless range?
5 m, or up to 10 m with clear line of sight. It is designed to be used in the building or area the system serves.
What is guest mode?
It locks the settings menu so guests can see live usage and generation but cannot change how the system runs. Ideal for glamping cabins, eco-tourism stays and rental accommodation.
How long does the battery last?
About 10 hours from its 5,100 mAh battery, then recharge over USB-C with the supplied 240 V adapter. It can also simply sit on its stand on charge.
Can I mount it on a wall?
It ships with a case and display stand for bench or shelf use. It is a portable 320 g tablet-style unit rather than a fixed panel, so you can carry it to the system and back.
Do I still need the 4G monitoring?
They serve different jobs. 4G lets you (or us) check the system from anywhere with coverage – useful for support and for absentee owners. The display gives certainty on site with no dependencies. Many owners run both.
Is it useful for emergency and disaster response?
Genuinely, yes. In a flood or cyclone the cellular network is often the first casualty, and cloud-based monitoring goes with it. This display keeps working, so responders can see the state of their power without any network at all.
What warranty does it come with?
Two years.
