Why a Movable Mount Matters Off-Grid
Chase the sun, dodge the shadeShading is the silent killer of off-grid generation – a tree line that is fine in summer can cost you badly in winter. A mount you can move is a mount that keeps producing.
No roof, no problemHang panels on a shed wall, fence, container or frame. No roof penetrations, no structural work.
Semi-permanent by designSolid enough to leave up, light enough to take down. Ideal for leased land, temporary sites or anywhere you might reconfigure.

Frequently Asked Questions
What panels does it fit?
Most standard solar panel sizes and types. The brackets attach to a wide variety of panel frames rather than being matched to a single product – including the Maxxiom Flexible Solar Panel and standard rigid panels.
What can I mount it on?
Virtually any static structure – a shed or house wall, a fence, a shipping container, a purpose-built frame. It is designed to hang panels where the sun is, without roof penetrations or structural work.
What tilt angle should I use?
The mount adjusts between 24.6 and 34.5 degrees, which suits most Australian latitudes for year-round generation. Steeper favours winter sun, shallower favours summer.
Is it strong enough to leave outside permanently?
It is anodised aluminium with stainless steel fixings – built for outdoor life. For a genuinely permanent, engineered installation talk to us about your site, wind rating and mounting substrate.
How many do I need?
One per panel. So a Kelpie Portable with six panels needs six mounts, if you are mounting them all this way.
Can one person install it?
Yes – at 2.6 kg the mount itself is easily handled. The panel is the heavier part, so a second pair of hands is sensible when lifting panels into place.
Why not just lay the panels on the ground?
Flat panels lose a significant amount of generation, collect dust and water, and are easily shaded by grass and debris. A tilted, elevated mount produces materially more power and keeps the panel clean.
Is it suitable for a permanent home installation?
It is designed for temporary, semi-permanent and relocatable installs. For a permanent off-grid home array we would normally specify an engineered roof or ground-mount system – ask our technical team.
What warranty does it come with?
Five years.
Can I use it with the Flexible Solar Panel?
The Flexible Solar Panel is usually adhesive-mounted to a surface, but the Quick Panel Mount gives you a rigid, tiltable alternative if you want to angle it at the sun or move it around. Talk to us about your setup.
